Countless authors have not had access to the care necessary to produce their best work before going to print (or digital). In the absence of publishing knowledge, many go to self-publishing sites for assistance, but most of these sites are uncritical- taking fees for disparate services with no comprehensive view of your project. This is because self-publishing companies derive their income from their fees, as opposed to a percentage of sales. They typically do not do marketing or distribution either. This can result in the viability of your book after production being of little interest -or consequence- to the self-publishing entity.

As a hybrid publisher, we at Hansen Dyson don’t just believe the success of your book is paramount to our success – our active vested interest has a direct financial return. This publishing model cuts the costs for authors while providing them with greater input in the publishing process. Marketing and distribution are shared, as are profits (in as high as an 85:15 ratio, author to publisher) with the author maintaining 100% of their publishing rights. A professional partnership with Hansen Dyson allows authors far more creative control, lower production costs, and higher profits, all while receiving critical oversight and care.

Our main partner is Norse Code Designs. This creative agency provides much of our tech, graphic, and marketing services. Our collaboration enables Hansen Dyson to offer business packages and services to our clientele while providing editorial services, content, web, and marketing copy to theirs.
